where can i download free antivirus software???

The trial version of antivirus i got with my PC is about to expire.Can u tell me where i can download free anti virus softwares and which is best??

this is a good site for free antivirus and antispyware, with regular updates http://www.filehippo.com/ stick to one antivirus product; avg and avast are both very good; as for antispyware, spybot search & destroy and spywareblaster are an excellent combination, and neither conflicts with avg or avast. you are going to be hard pressed to find an antivrus product under 5mb but Clamwin is only 5.5mb http://www.filehippo.com/download_clamwi...

AVG is the best antivirus software right now and you can get its completely free version from Download.com I have read and heard that AVG's free antivirus is better than Norton's paid version. Download.com is a great place to get all kinds of free softwares, I get all my softwares from there.
