what to put on a college application

for those of you that have already been to college i would really like some advice on what sort of thing to put on my college applications. any tips or secret insights?

Well technically, you write on the application everything that the application asks for. There are two applications - one is the Common App (which is basically your name and other personal information) and the other is the school application. The best thing to do on these applications when your are writing about yourself is to remain consistent with your extracurriculars, show passion, and be unique.
