Sinky Head

Our 11yo suffers from an itchy and smelly head. It is so greasy and it smells bad, if she washes it in the morning by evening it is oily again. Even moments after washing it it will sometimes smell like machine oil. Her hair is extremely thick and straight, she itches it a lot right along the part line.
Recently I started her on vinegar rinses (I put white distilled vinegar in a squirt bottle) and it has really taken care of the problem, now she can go 2 days and her hair will just start to not look fresh. I am thinking, since vinegar is a mild fungicide, that she had some sort of fungus on her scalp causing these odd and disturbing symptoms.

Thats a different problem that ive never heard of, im glad to hear that you have found a way of helping the problem because it would be to bad if it caused her problems at school with being made fun of (kids can be pretty cruel about things) anyways id think your probably right about it being a fungus, did you ever take her to a doctor about it to have it checked out? Anyways glad that you found something that worked! Happy Myloting
