i still have not gotten my daughtes pictures taken... i want too soon, she is almost 2 months old!! i was thinking about the picture people.. but i dont know the prices or anything. i tried looking it up online, but there wasnt anything about the packages or price. where did you take your children, and how much did you pay?

I take mine to Wal-Mart when cash is a problem they do pretty good pictures and if money's really tight they usually have a special package that runs between 4.95 and 6.95 for one child. They take several poses those are extra but still reasonable. The quality I think is pretty good and have added a pick from Christmas, this was taken at Wal-Mart a couple of years ago. I don't think it's to bad. This was "My little fat hog" that was what I called her the first few months because she was such a rolly polly as you can see from the picture.

When my son was young we always took him to Wal-Mart. If you catch a special you can get the pictures taken for less than $4. Their packages always have way more pictures than you will ever need too. We were always very happy with how they came out.

Your right I forgot that they sometimes do a special for $1.95 here. It is amazing and you really do get a lot of pictures. :)

yeah i went to wal mart for my seinor pictures like 3 years ago. i like how they are cheap and stuff, but i think that the poses are boring, and i dont really like the airbrushed backgrounds.. lol i guess im kind of picky! that picture of your daughter is so cute tho!

I personally take our pictures at Walmart. They do a pretty good job and you get plenty of pictures for the price. We had my daughter's pictures taken right after she was born and we got 42 pictures for 5.88. I think that is great. For really special pictures we go to Sears but the last time we went the pictures were horrible. we ended up going to Walmart again and they turned out great. I have heard mixed things about the picture people but I personally do not have experience with thema s they aren't in our area now. Good luck she is a doll.

i was thinking about that, but i have a really bad camera.. so i dont know how well the pictures will be. ive been meaning to get a new camera tho

If you want profesional and good i went to gotcha photography. It was a bit expencive but in the end it is defiantely worth it. It cost $500 australian dolars. But you get at least 25 photo's or more i cannot remember how many i actualy got as gave some away. And they look great. As i do not have a scanner i cannot put one up to show you. You get keychain size photos fridge magnets you have to pay for seperate, You can get keychains done buy them but it is less expensive to get it done yourself.. You get standard photos bit bigger than a4 size and a poster size. They ring you up every 2 months to see if you want more taken with free sittings but i tink once was enough for me. Maybe when his older id get my son taken again. They can be found in shopping centres or look in the phone book for their number.

I like to take my kids to Sears Portrait Studios. Its relatively inexpensive, the smallest package is $100, but you can buy by the picture at 8 bucks a sheet. Their website also has some coupons for freebies on it. Plus they are taught how to handle a camera and kids. Its a safe bet ofr good pictures for us.
