I've always had an inkling for Canon cameras. I find them user friendly, cost efficient and nice to look at. Right now, I'm using a Canon Powershot digital camera. What about you?

My first camera was a point and shoot film Canon. I think it was the SureShot Date. It was a good camera. Later, I won a digital camera. The Nikon CoolPix 800 (worth $700 I think at the time). It was awesome. I took over 10,000 photos with it. After that camera, I've only bought Nikon cameras. I've had the prosumer Nikon CoolPix 8700, and the digital point and shoot Nikon CoolPix S5. I hope my next camera will be the Nikon D80. I have tried the digital point and shoot Canon Digital Elph. I like it and I'd agree that if you picked it up, it's easy to use. I learned it instantly. I liked all the little fun features in it, but for taking really nice pictures, I still liked my Nikon cameras more. I do have a Canon digital video camera though, I like it. I like all the neat scene modes that Canon puts in. I don't have much use for them with still photos, but I love it on video.

I like Canon line of cameras. They give the best for your money. I used to have a Canon Powershot. Very good too. Then I own a Kodak Z740. A good one with some manual features which I like to work on. Now I'm using an Olympus SP series. It is also a good one, if you know how to weak it to suit your needs.

Hi! Thanks for your response. I also like Nikon but it's too pricey for me =) How often do you use your Sony cam?

i've used minolta, canon, and nikon. they say nikon is the top of the line. i really don't know. it's really in how you take the picture and the accessories you have. if you have the necessary lens, and the knowledge in taking pictures, the result will be great.
