Okay, this is a venting post. Have any of you seen that maxi pad commercial where the girls are sitting oustide, and then the city water tower explodes. One of the girls pulls a pad out of her purse then holds it up in front of her to absorb the water. That would be bad enough, but then she sits down and the girl next to her starts stroking the pad and says, "It's so dry!" Watching this made me think that in some office somewhere, someone actually got up and presented that as a commercial. You know the most shocking thing about this is that some executive actually said, "Yes, this is brilliant. Perfect! You fully understand women and their need for protection. Good work. Here's a promotion and more money." I don't know if that's what the executive said, but they paid someone to make that commercial. Insane. That could be the most stupid commercial that has ever been made. Seriously. It had to have been a man that came up with that genius idea. No woman would have ever done that.
