Is it ok that at the age of 18 the U.S. will alow it's citizens to die?

Is it ok that at the age of 18 we can go to war and die for our country, but our country wont let us the citizens drink until the age of 21? I don't think it's right. We can do everything else, die, gamble, get a credit card, sign our own legal documents but we can't drink.

I don't necessarily think people should be able to drink legally at 18 but I don't think they should be sent off to war at 18 either..You make good points...
