Offline Advertising?

Have you ever had an opportunity you were so excited about that you resorted to offline advertising? If you did, what was the opportunity, what kind of offline advertising did you do & were you successful in your offline campaign? I recently created flyers for a program I was excited about. (See profile page) I spent one hour creating & printing the fliers and spent about 2 hours putting them up. I was very pleased with the resulting 50 or so signups within 1 week. I can't wait to do it again! I may even start printing business cards for the next round. LOL
