How do you deal with everyday stress?

Did you find a way to live calm life with so much daily stress in office, fulfilling your daily obligations toward familly, friends and beloved ones? Is there any magic formula for that? I didnt find it yet, but some tools are helpfull to me. Some new food patterns, active meditations, dance, body and emotion expressions and some other techniques for inner growth and recalling my creativity. Have you found some other technique or some of these are of help to you?

hi,i usually had bath with cool water..with which i become fresh from tensions..

:) it seems the best to make a list of these all daily activities which we are using for stress relief. just to have a look on paper to see what simple tool we can use in a moment we feel in tension.

One thing that helps is to have family meetings to plan and organize the schedule and to communicate. I think communication is the secret formula to help with everyday stress.

Yes, to me too communication and sharing with my beloved is really of help. I even forgot that ritual is happening every day and how much it makes stress down.. Thanks for reminding me.

When am under stress I will get some one thats free to just have a chat and then back to works.

I am 34 this year.I have my family too and I do understand that the living give me real hard time sometime but the fact is......tomorrow need to continue!I hope you can get some good solutions :)

thats ok for some temporary release, but what about our everyday supressing. when i read answers, it comes as everybody is ok. maybe because here mostly are young people?! they really know how to be what they are. but around me, seeing people in some 30th and more it is not like that. as u r older u need more things to do to relax.

My faith keeps me calm. I sit down and read my Bible or pray to God. I also call my friends and we talk or go out to have fun.

When I get really tensed I stop and pray to God for peace and strength.

i understand. but is there some situation which make u to be tensed? in that moments can u just sit and pray to God? or u need to do something more active to throw out that tension? can u have fun with friends if u r under stress?

I do Osho's meditations and it changed my life. He gave many different meditations to express anger which usually we keep inside and supress. After doing meditation I am like a baby with a smile. Especially dynamic meditation and giberrish. Which dance do you prefer?

Hmmm.. the most important in dance to me is to follow my body. I dont like some classic dance schools, rather choosing modern dance. But mostly techniques to come in touch with body and uncosciuosness and past memories. For that is the best Shamanic dance, and workshops like 5 rhythms, trance dance and similar. Anything what makes me to be in contact with my inner.
