How's your relationship between your Father in Law?

Honestly,i'm not close to my father in law because my husband have no good in terms to his father too for some valid reason..How about you?

So far, I'm having a good relationship with my in-laws but I'm trying to keep my distance. I don't like the feeling that I always have to please them and one wrong move could send them spreading some bad news about me. You know how in-laws are, don't you?

its good to hear that you have good relationship to your in laws.i also have a good relationship to my father in law but the years passed by...my ears is already irritated to his same problem that never been solve.he always complaining that his children never respect him and he wants my husband to stand up for him.actually,thier father made a big mistakes because he lift and marry again to other woman but their mother was still alive yet...so i understand the feelings of thier children and beside my husband also have the same way too....he came to us here to make some trouble to his children...

no, my father in law and i don't get along. my husband has always had issues with his dad growing up his dad wasn't really around, now his dad is trying to make up for his mistakes on being a bad father and doing things for his 2 kids with his new wife that he didn't do for his 5 boys with his ex. my husband he resents that a little. well my father in law went to the iraq and had my husband in charge of his funds, but he didn't tell us his wife ( who is gold digging ) had access as well, but she took 6000. from his account and blamed us, so he believes her of course and he does talk to my husband, but will not talk to me, i guess he thinks i did it or forced my husband to do it idk. he's a loser and an a**hole! I could care less wut happens to him. i just hate how my mother in law forces my kids on him, i wish she wouldn't do that!

well,i think we have the same situation regarding to our in laws.i have also a problem to my father in law because for how many years i never seen his presence and now his here to create a trouble to his children...i understand the feelings of my in laws to thier father because thier father made a big mistakes to them and to obesrve to my father in law even a little conscience he never felt that.so my husband control his temper to his father....

My father-in-law used to be fine to be with. I have had not much problems with him. Since he has passed away years ago, all the good and difficult times had all been gone for good, too. My husband treasured his father so much.

wow!it seems that you have a great father-in-law.i'm not close to my father -in- law its because my first saw him was my youngest daughter age of 5years old and now my youngest is already 7 years old already.its hard to be close to him because of his attitude..

If your husband has ill feelings about your father in law, then trust him and follow his lead. You only became familiar with who he is after marriage. your husband knows the the man for all of his life. Without going into my own sticky details on why i know this, just trust me here. dont try to make things better between them or interfere. It can prove dangerous to your family.

oh yes,all his children hate so much to him because of what he done and now he came back and nothing happen actually my husband is the one only who talk to him nicely but my husband still hurt of what his father done to his family.now he come to my house for telling my husband that he hate so much to my husband eldest brothers.he wants my husband to do something to his eldest brothers and i dont like that because all my brother -in- laws and sisters-in-law are ok with me.only thier father have a big problem to their children.i dont want my husband involve to his problem with his other children..am i right?

My father-in-law and I get along okay. He's a pretty honest man. Even though I am not close with him, or any of my husband's side of the family, I'd have to say he's the best one out of that side of the family.
