Does anyone out there have a cat that will eat nothing but one type of food? My cats will not eat anything but Purina Indoor Formula. I have tried other foods, tuna, sardines, nothing works, they won't touch anything else.

I would be glad if my cats would eat just one thing. My cats are so finicky it's ridiculous. This week they like turkey and giblets, next week they won't touch it and I have to try to find a food they will eat. This is constant. One day they'll eat up Mariner's Catch like it's the best thing in the world and then they won't touch it. You have no idea how many different brands and flavors of cat foods I have to go through to see what they'll eat week to week. Enjoy it while it lasts because trying to figure out what my cats like tends to cost a fortune.

Science Diet - My cat and Science Diet
My cats only eat Science diet but this is o.k. with me this is the food recommended to me by my vet. I also get hair ball control it helps with the throwing up.It is more expensive then most but I use nothing but the best for my cats.

You have high class cats! That is cool. I have tried better foods for them but they won't eat them! The vet says that they are healthy, so let them eat the Purina.

cats - Sasha is a finicky eater
Yes - my Sasha is like that. I have 5 cats, and 4 of them will eat pretty much anything that is put in front of them. But Sasha will only eat Hills Feline ID dried food (chicken flavour!), and tinned tuna - the real, human stuff, not that made into cat food! If you give him anything else, he scratches around the bowl as if trying to cover it up, because it disgusts him too much to eat it!LOL!

Another top shelf cat, I love it! Now, if I give my cats Hills, one of them paws the floor next to the bowl and makes strange sounds. That means "no, no, no, I will not eat that!" Thanks for your comment

Oh yea, your cats sound finicky. You better hope Purina never goes out of business. LOL

The only type of dry cat food my cat can eat is Iams kitten formula. Everything else either gives her gas or causes her to throw up. So my cat is very finicky, although she can eat bits of chicken or tuna--and doesn't seem to have a problem with the canned cat food.

At least your cat will ear chicken or tuna. I try to give mine a variety and they will not touch it. They don't like tuna or canned food. Talk about finicky, thanks for your response.

Hi there, seems as if we have lots of finicky cats out here. What does your cat eat? I don't blame her for not wanting the really cheap stuff, I hear they put lots of stuff in it that you would not want your cat to consume. Take care, thanks for responding
