Do you read advice columns? Have you ever written in to one?

I used to read the advice columns in the paper all the time, but have not done that in a long time now. I would look for advice for situations that were similar to ones that I was in, or else be totally amazed about situations other people found themselves in.
I have never written in to one -- Have you? I have wondered if the editors just made up some questions or if they were all from real people.
What are your thoughts on using advice columns?

I think that's what is so attractive about mylot too - you get other's points of view about a variety of topics and issues. You don't feel obligated to follow any advice because it is not family pressuring you -- it's all advice that looks at it from a separate point of view. Thanks for your response!
