I'm afraid to die early... my children would be lost without me

When i think of death i start to panic because i cant bear the thought of leaving my children. I always ask God that He grant me to live long enough to see my children grow and ensure that they would have a good future. I'm afraid to die not because i fear death itself but because no one would take good care of my children as i do with them. I have good relatives but they have families to and i cant bear the thought of my children waiting for the hand me downs from their cousins and not being able to get the best education. Because of my fear of dying young, i had my to pay my insurance as part of my priorities so that somehow my children would still have something to use for their needs just in case something happens to me.
Are any of you mothers like me have the same fear a i do?

I have no kids but I do have people depending on me to support them so yes I feel the same with you. I honestly don't mind to die right now since sometimes my life is so burdensome but I know I can't just give it up what about those who depend on me? they will be homeless being abused on the streets by troubled teenagers!

I had that too and I can't imagine my parents having no one to take care of them and become a charity case of other people. As I said, money may not be everything, but I made sure that at least they won't be left without any means to support themselves in case something happens to me so...I got a life insurance with them as beneficiaries.

i am not a mother but i somehow understand the way you feel...specially that your concern is for your children.well, nobody can't say whether he/she is too die or not..of course depending on the situation, right?....for you, i think you must be prioritizing the things that would be helpful to your children when you're gone...you did a good idea pertaining to insurance..it is one...just be sure you did all the best things for your children.. that's what it is...
