i just got my wedding dress and it comes with a sheer shawl that has embroidery to match the wedding dress. should i wear the shawl for the wedding ceremony, reception, or both?

It depends on if your "chilly" or not..or how pretty it really is. Is the wedding dress strapless, or are there straps? Do you have sleeves? If the church or the place you're getting married in is warm enough, I'd probably bypass the shawl..especially if there was any jewelry involved (shawls notorisly get snagged on jewelry). I'd probably wear the shawl later on, at the reception maybe, like when I walked in, or when I left. I love shawls...but I doubt I'd wear it at the actual ceremony.

I love the shawls that come with wedding dress and find they add a touch of class . I would wear the shawl for the wedding ceremony but would probably take it off for the reception , just as you want to be comfortable and don't want to be lugging it with you and trying to find it if you take it off .
