It's Saturday. What are your plans for this weekend? I'll be packing boxes as we are getting ready to move into our new house, and cleaning up around here. I've been sick with flu/cold for over a week now and really need to get some stuff done around the house.

Well for me I'll just be at home watching movies and messing around online. Sunday though is all about the Academy Awards! :D

I forgot about the Academy Awards. I like to see the reports the next day on who was the best and worst dressed, I always laugh at those. What movies will you be watching tonight?

We had a couple of plans to take our children and some friends' children to a movie ... but this ice, snow, wind storm has really put the kabosh on all plans other then staying inside. We did have a couple of stow-aways spend the weekend with us as my husband's good friend is a jailor and needed to stay close to the jail to ensure he could get to work. We've had about an inch of ice covered with 12 inches of snow! Doing better then most in our area as we still have electricity! I've heard that 100,000 people in this part of our state lost electricity (including my parents and sister and her husband and their kids). Oh, I'm spending lots of time praying for those without electricity and thanking God that we didn't lose ours! Excited that you're moving, even if it's a pain to pack!

We kept our electricity and all of our family has gotten theirs back on! A ballerina bedroom sounds awesome! Are you doing it yourself? What types of things are you putting in it? I would LOVE to re-do our girls room in a ballerina theme!

That picture is so adorable! Glad to hear you were able to keep your power on. We got hit with the storm last night, schools are closed but the roads are clear now that it's afternoon. We didn't get the ice, just about a foot of snow. I can't wait to get started on her bedroom. We're painting it light pink and the trim and closet doors white. We have a ballerina framed art to put on the wall and some ballerina shoes to hang. I'm sure we'll add more as we go, maybe do some stenciling.

We're getting hit with that storm you had but I don't think it's as bad, still pretty nasty out there. I hope you're able to keep your electricity on. We get stow-aways on the weekends too but this weekend we don't have any. I'm very excited to get into our new house. My 4 year old is getting a "ballerina bedroom" and I'm just as anxious as she is to get started on it! Stay warm!

Well it's Monday now but I can tell you what I did on the weekend. Friday the kids had the day off. I went out and bought them the Nintendo Wii. Now it is extremely hard to find one of these in Canada. They are really popular. They were so happy. So they spent a lot of time playing that. As for me laundry, shopping and straightening up. Same old stuff. I hope you are feeling better. The flu is really going around. I've been fortunate that ever since I started getting the flu shot I've never had the flu.

Those flu shots are a blessing, now I'm wishing I'd had mine! If you bought the Nintendo Wii for your kids then your weekend must have been nice and quiet. Kept them pretty busy I bet!

Yes, we are moving to some place we want to move to....down the road. We just bought a house and are glad that we didn't have to go far to get a home that had everything we were looking for!
