hoteling while living in the same city?

A growing trend? Instead of travelling to a different city and visiting new places, Young couples are hoteling within the same city. Something like a lover's escape. I personally do that, Its different. You see how its going to be when you are travelling with your partner. I think everyone who can afford it easily should do it as the ladies really like it. I'd like to know how many of you would agree with me on this and how many would disagree, please give reasons.

young couple allways need a privacy. In present days privacy is avilable in hotels. Every young couple share their valuble early days only on hotels and not interested to waste time on journey.

I've done it several times. We have a large casino with a hotel about 20 minutes from my house and have stayed there several times recently. It's good to get away where nobody can just "stop in" and they don't have access to you by phone unless you answer the cell. It does also give you an idea of what it would be like to travel with someone as well as ideas on what amenities and hotel features are important to you as a couple so that you can book the right trips and rooms for a real vacation. Being in the same house with someone for the weekend, surrounded by your own things, is quite different from being with them away from home.
