Do you like pictures of yourself??

I love to take pictures of my kids and other people but I seem to hate pictures of myself, it's like I only see the bad things about myself . . . what about you??

Well i love to take picturs of my family too, but i don't like photos of myself. After having my daughter i have put weight on so i don't like seeing the pictures of myself.

I know exactly what you mean, like having a baby didn't do anything to their body, how is that possible?!

After having 2 babies I lost weight but not as much as I wanted to and when I see myself and my body in pictures it just doesn't look very attractive to me . . . having babies has changed it so much!!

I would rather be behind the camera too, but then when I look at all the pictures of my family, I am never in any of them, and most of the time I am okay with that but sometimes I wish I was in them because it looks like I am not there. But my husband is the opposite, he hates to take pictures!

Now there is a good idea, if I am just in some of the pictures but don't ever really look at them then maybe it wouldn't be so bad . . . good thinking :)

im in alot of pics but hate how i come out in them, maybe you should just be in them and just dont look at the pics so then everyone will know you were there. i have to say that pics hold a close place to my heart, my parents are both passed away and all i have are pictures and i love to look back at them

It doesn't mean that you are ugly at all, it just means you are like the rest of us and don't like pictures of yourself!

Im the same way. I always see the flaws in myself. My husband is always constantly telling me how beautiful I am but I still cant see it through my eyes.

My hubby is the same way, I tell him that he is looking through rose colored glasses and that he sees me different than myself and everyone else, which is fine, not complaining about that!

My husband gets upset if I say anything negative about my looks and he doesnt understand why I would feel that way when he tells me every day how beautiful I am. He is very comfortable with himself and doesnt understand what it's like to NOT like yourself and how you look!

I dont like my pics as well i love taking pics of my daughter hubby etc.But we are our own worst critics.When we see a pic we study it no one else studies it like we do they glance at it for a second or so..But we should always try to like ourselves or pics cause our flaws are what seperates us form evreryone else right?lol

Aye, the same for me really. All of sudden the pics are beautiful when you get one of yourself eh :P Guess everybody has low self esteem, gotta realise we're beautiful as well :)

I don't really have a low self esteem I guess I just have a hard time as seeing myself as beautiful. Any suggestions on how to change the way I feel when I look at a picture of myself?

I agree with everyone here! I'm so not photogenic. Everyone says I'm really cute and good looking, but I think I'm spotty and scarry with a funny nose and receding hair! hehe. There's only about three photo's in the world of me though so it's not too bad - I have two of them :)

I bet you are really cute and good looking but like the rest of us, when we look at pictures of ourselves all we can see are the flaws, I am going to work on not doing that so much, maybe we all should!
