Its about 63 degrees today, and I am thinking a hammock with a nice book would be nice for Spring and Summer. I probably should buy it, but I was wondering anyone ever make one. Is it easy to make or should I just go to Target or Walmart and purchase one?

We have a hammock in our backyard. Its nice to lay there and read a nice book or take a short nap and enjoy fresh air. You should go buy one of a good quality. one that would last for sometime and easy to store.

I would think you could macrame one or sew one, but personally I think the instruction books and the rope, woden dowels, chains, material, thread, etc. etc. would cost a lot more than if you just went out and bought it. Seems like a lot of effort for someone that just wants to lay around in it and read a book (just kidding, lol). You might want to buy one first so see how you like it, how much you use it, and what materials you'd rather have in it. Then you can create your masterpiece when the cheap one falls apart!

I thought about it and I think purchasing in one makes more sense. I will buy one later on.
