Gears of war

Gears of war all the way. After you've played Gears of War for a while you start to realize how lame halo 2 is. I used to be a hardcore halo 2 fanatic but Gears of War is just an all around better game.For starters GoW has wayyyy better graphics. In GoW having the special weapons on the map (Boom shot, Sniper, Hammer of Dawn, etc.) isn't always an advantage, the weapons have their own unique advantages. In Halo 2, if the other person has Sniper or Rockets they are almost guaranteed to get the kill on you every time.

Gears of War in my opinion. The graphics are much nicer but both Halo 2 and gears take skill but I'd say Halo 2 is more skilled involved. The matches on Halo are more varied than Gears. Team battles, swat, snipers, battlerifles, while on Gears its the maps which determine weapons. Halo and Gears are both equally fun but Halo is more fun with a friend in real life playing with you on Live. The sniping on both is my favorite, both are realistic in some way-headshots are 1 hit kills. In gears an active reload sniper shot takes you down. In halo your armor goes down. In gears, there is definately more stealth involved. In halo you seem something you shoot lol. Gears also lets you carry 4 weapons instead of 3 on Halo so that's enjoyable. However, you have maximum of 8 grenades that thrown whenever while you have 2 maximum on live and 4 maximum on campaign in Gears. This is very hard, I play Gears a lot more and I'm not that amazing at Halo live so I would say it's which one you're better at makes it more fun. Gears: +Graphics +4 Weapons +Stealth -2 grenades on live -no jumping :( -You die, you gotta wait for round to be over(could take as long as 5 minutes) Halo: +Gameplay is intense +8 Grenades to be thrown at any time. +Full blown out war. -Not that realistic. -Much skill needed. -Super jumping/glitching ruines games. In my personal opinion, I'd say Gears of War for xbox 360 because I love the shotgun and blowing peoples heads off. It's great fun, if you have a xbox 360 or are planning to buy one, get Gears of War and Halo 2. Best live games out right now. :)

Halo 2 had a longer lasting appeal for me so it gets my vote.

i would say gears of war, only if people will stop being cocky and actually trying to work together :p but very rarely do you get that... but just gameplay wise, Gears is much better than Halo 2 imo :p

OFcourse the Gears of war is the best online game of 2007 as I have seen.
