Driving around in a fantasy world

Has this ever happened to you? I have been known to burn up the roads, going here and there. I used to travel out of state alot on my job and sometimes would find muself in what seemed like the Daytona 500. Seriously, my imagination just sometimes takes complete control of me and I can't stop it from doing what it is going to do. I can be driving down the interstae, going a little above the speed limit, listening to Toby keith on the radio and minding my own business, when someone decides to get right up on my bumper, then flip to the next lane and try to cut me off. Suddenly, in my mind I am sitting in a race car, roll bars all around me, a big old helmet on my head and wearing one of those cute little one piece suits the racers wear. I cut my eyes over at my opponent and a little voice says..start your engines...I am thinking, I can take him, bring it on! And we are off! Oh I want to win so bad, but the big eighteen wheeler in front of me, which I am sure is against racing regulations, just won't allow me to get around him. And before I know it, I have been left in the dust once again. My only consolation is when I finally catch up to my opponent, it is as I am driving by him with a smile as I watch the blue flashing lights of the car parked behind him on the side of the road and the officer writing something on a little pad.

There are times when I am driving and I get so into the thought that I can not remember going through certain stop lights and ect. Kinda scary huh? lol

I don't think that I have ever done that but I know my husband gets mad at drivers that cut him off and so forth and then likes to go after them by driving way to fast.

yes, mine too, I have to keep his road rage in check lol...I think that is why if we ever argue, which isn't often, it is almost always in the car

Not personally but i think thats a fantastic story :) In fact my husband is more likely to be the guy who is speeding around you and getting pulled over. Maybe he needs to learn to daydream lol.
