Would you say that writing for AC has improved your skills as a writer?

I think it has to a point. I am for sure a better content writer for internet sites and such. I know about keywords now. But my first love is writing fiction, and I don't do it anymore. I am too busy trying to make money on AC to write short stories or work on my book. I think today I will write something for fun.

I don't know if AC in itself will make you a better writer (I've seen some pretty poor stuff on there), but just writing for publication will make you better, if you keep at it. The more you write and the harder you work at it, the better you will get.

That's basically what I wondered. I would think if you were writing on a frequent basis with the understanding your work would be reviewed by others, you'd naturally improve. Thanks for your response!
