What is the point of life?

You are born, you grow old and you die. This has been going on for millions of years. Is there a purpose in life? As a Hindu, the purpose of my life is to achieve oneness with the Divine. What do you think is the purpose of your life? I would like to know what people think about this.

As a Christian, the purpose of my life is to try to reconcile people who areliving without God to turn to him Him. After my temporary life on this earth is over, He promises that his children, of which I am one, will live with Him forever in Heaven.

hm, it sounds lile ur bribing people to vote for some politician... and, how do u know that heaven is "good"?

The purpose of my life is to be filled with God. We were created as vessels, a container. But we are not created to have success, a lot of money, fame, good education, etc. This will not definitely satisfy man. Only God can satisfy us because we were made to contain and be filled with Him.

life is just there. Nothing more nothing less, you are priveliged to have it so do your best to enjoy it but i don't believe there is more of a meaning beyond that. enjoy life and be happy that is my meaning of life

my purpose in life is to develop a wonderful relationship with my CREATOR GOD which will last forever!! my second purpose in life is to help others know GOD and HIS love for them so they can develop that wonderful relationship with HIM which will last forever.
