The +(plus), - (minus), and the ! exclamation)??

You can rate every post that you have read, not just the discussion you have started. Just to remind you that you can only rate a post once only, so, think more carefully before you rate someone! =P

Hello Kowgirl..... + positive.....for good or great responses. - negative.....for comments that warrant it. ! report.....to remove post that are against mylot policies. Mylot provides these options to all members, they need our help rating or reporting because there are just too many for the moderators to keep on top of all the crap that needs to be removed. Tom 100's possibly 1000's of members times 73,000+ members equals how many per week ??? No one can see who rates negatives or reports so there is no need to fear repercussions or stalking by someone. Check the do's and don'ts list to see for yourself.

I think if we were limited by the discussion or posting, then we would not have the option to rate. I have rated really good answers to discussions that I did not start. Some answers deserve to have a high rating and if I have the option to rate them I will. I have read over the rules and it does not say we can not rate on anyone else discussions. I do not see where it will hurt.
