Is it okay to love a person even if you're not over your ex?

Do you think loving a person even if you're not over your ex is highly unfair? Or can it be a way for you to get over him/her by loving someone else? Love is so complicated!!

I would find it very hard to start loving someone if I was still in love with an ex. There would be constant comparing between the two. There would be too many memories that would stand in the way of real love. I think mostly it would be unfair to you. You need time to heal your broken heart properly and you would not be able to really heal it if you moved on so quickly. Give yourself some time and do not jump into another relationship so fast. Some women feel that they need a man in their life at all times, but if you are secure with yourself and don't mind spending more time with friends and family you won't need to have a guy around all the time. In time, you will be able to love someone easily, and you will not have the feelings that could eventually cause resentment or distrust.

You're right. I won't be able to heal my broken heart if I "moved on so quickly". Thanks so much. =)
