Australia to change bulbs to curb warming.

Australian environment minister Mr.Malcoim Turnbull said, yellow incandescent bulbs, which have been in use virtually unchanged for 125 years,would be replaced by more efficient bulbs compact fluorescent bulbs by 2009 in a bid to curb greenhouse emissions.This would help Australia trm 800,000 tons from its current emissions by 2012 and household lighting costs by 66%.

I heard about this. I thought I heard that they country was actually going to outlaw the old incandescent bulbs, but maybe I didn't get all the details right.
