Is Sunday worship an important part of your life?

Sunday is a very special day to me. It is a day that I go and worship Him in His House and I love being with other believers to sing His praises and to grow in my walk with the Lord. God is good...ALL of the time!

Resting is important, as is also affirming/reminding that God is the Creator.. because He created the world in 6 days and rested on the seventh day. However, like someone else mentioned, the seventh day of the week is Saturday.. the Sabbath mentioned in the ten commandments was meant to be Saturday. Sunday is actually an institution of mankind and historical religious forces .. not of God. I am a caregiver, so it is permissable for me to do this kind of work on Sabbath -- (I have a two hour shift), because the elderly and disabled still have to eat then, but I miss having an entire Sabbath free of obligations! I also have a short shift on Sunday.... breaks up the weekend! I've had Sabbath to rest on my entire life. It brings a feeling of renewal when I have that .. The pharisees tried to make up a bunch of rules for keeping it, and what Jesus said was, "Sabbath was made for man, not man for the Sabbath."

God said that the Sabbath was to last until the end of time. We do need rest and I think it also has a more spiritual aspect to it, reminding us of the eternal plan. But it's actually supposed to be Saturday, not Sunday.

Yes it is my day of worship if not rest.I need to go to church on Sundays as its a day of obligation. I try to sit less on the pc thus i try to maintain my rest cause if I am resting i am not online working.Infact on Sundays i work only half day.

I try to rest on Sunday,but it's not so easy because I work from monday to friday and I use these 2 day to do a lot of things.Sunday is my favourite day to cook my boyfriend favourite dishes

Going to church is important because we could relate to God in a communitarian manner and also we could develop a sense of belonging to the body of Christ. We are sure, individuals, but we cannot live on our own, we need family, communities to live on. It is also a time to worship and rest....as u said....But dont make it as an idol, I mean if u dont go to church you will not have your relationship broken. Going to church is important but that is not the only thing.

nope. When i feel moved by God that's when i worship him no matter the day, I don't have a set day where i "have to"
