Now asian elephants especially those living in or near china are engangering themselvs in the following aspects:1. More severe elephant-human confrontations Asian elephants' habitats are decreasing, they know where are the farmers' plantation and when will the crops be mature. So more severe confrotation, and each year there are some ppl killed by elephants. 2. To protect themselves, male elephants are growing shorter teeth or no teeth at all! Thats a very strange evolution!
