About 2 years ago I bought a basic set of stainless steel by Wolfgang Puck. I loved them, but already the non stick ones are peeling their coating. What makes me mad is that when my husband and I got married he had some cheapy non-stick ones. The cheapy ones are still in perfect condition but the ones I paid a lot of money for arn't. Who makes some descent pots and pans?

I have some Revere Ware that has held up pretty good, I have had them for at about 4 years. They are reasonably priced, too.

I have a set of Ultrex pots and pans which I love. They are stainless steel with a nonstick coating which has lasted for years. I'm not sure if they are still manufacturing the brand anymore, however. It seems that whenever I find something that I really like and that works for me it goes out of production! I think that the "middle of the road" sets are just as good as the premium sets by makers like Wolfgang Puck, to be honest. I wouldn't spend my money on a name brand set- it seems that they don't last, as you've found out.

I got a fairly expensive stainless steel, waterless cookware. It comes with a lifetime guarantee. They are awesome, even if something sticks, it washes right out. The are heavy and nothing could harm them! I save a bundle on electricity too, as I am able to cook on low heat due to the heat carrying capacity of the pots. I simply love them. I have already had them 13 years and they look as good and cook as well as the day I got them!

I have a set of Lifetime pots and pans. I have had them for about 20 years and they still look wonderful. They come with a lifetime warrenty for me and my kids. They are so heavy and well made that I dont see how they could ever ruin. I love them. They were very expensive though. They were worth the investment. I cook alot
