What keeps you motivated?

We have our up and down..so we must have the tools to keep on going. For me, I look for competition. It makes me try to do my best every time. Whats yours?

My grandchildren keep me motivated as I would do anything for them. I try to stay in tune with what is going on in the world so that my grandchildren won't find me boring.

Competition is a great motovater! Even if the person im pitting myself against dosent know it, i love to do this. It makes me have the drive to do better. I thinks its a valueable tool! The thing that gets me going the fastest though is my son. I would do anything for him, and to make his life easier or better. Him being the most imporatint thing in my life, trusting me, depending on me, makes me want to be a better person, provide more and better things for him, and give him everything he could ever want out of life.

i feel support and understanding are two things that keep me motivated, however i do believe in competition and failed attempt. the difficulties i encounter will result in greater spirit.
