Situation, Its very very cold out, so cold you refuse to go outside. Everything feels cold to you. What do you cook to make the cold go away? What do you make, for breakfast lunch an dinner? Me, i would go with cinnamon rolls for breakfast, warm from the oven, Lunch would be a hot sandwitch, and dinner would be a chickensoup with dumplings! Yum!

When it is cold outside and I feel as though I can't get warm, it definitely changes my menu! For breakfast I might have a bowl of piping hot oatmeal with blueberries sprinkled over the top. For lunch a warm bowl of soup and a grilled cheese. Dinner would definitely be a big pot of hot, spicy chili with garlic bread!

I would make a hot veggie soup with plenty of fresh veggies and spices to give it a warm tangy flavor. Then I would make either warm corn bread or hot biscuits. I love cold days and warm food.

Every winter I make up porridge for breakfast, toasted sandwiches for lunch, the kids also take soup to school for lunch, and dinner consists of vegetable, chicken or minestrone soup to start with then a stew or crock-pot dinner and a warm pudding like bread and butter pudding for deserts. I find I am baking alot more during winter, it helps to keep the house warm and the kids's bellies fuller so they dont feel the cold as much.

Breakfast would probably be a big one, eggs, pancakes, sausage. Lunch would probably be a bowl of soup and a sandwich. Dinner would probably be homemade vegetable soup or chilli, or something extremely hot and satisfying.

When it comes to cooking, all ready my mouth is watering....lol. Well if it is very cold then for breakfast I would make stuffed omelate with bread and hot tea. For lunch, hot bean soup, and then mixed vegetable and rice, and of course some green salad. For dinner I ususally perfer something light, so may be I would prefer hot vegetable soup with lot of vegetables and a bit thick one so that it becomes a complete meal in itself. Later some fruit salad as desert. I just love cooking. I can go on writing on this topic. Since I was born in India, I specialise in indian food.

In our house when it's cold (actually we're having a blizzaed up here this weekend) we like a nice warm breakfast of pancakes and sausage, for lunch we had grilled cheese w/ tomato soup and for supper I just put some nice thick porkchops in the oven to bake along with some homemade baked mac and cheese. (Can't wait for supper)

A spicey breakfast burrito for breakfast, tomato soup and grilled cheese for lunch, stew and fresh rolls for dinner. Now I'm hungry.
