Slow Access on myLot

I´m posting this a day later, so maybe you´ve already found a solution to your problem. In any case I don´t think it´s Firefox that´s causing it. It´s happened to me too sometimes, that it took ages for a new page to load. But not very often. You stated that you always have to wait. Are you on dial-up? That could be the reason. Hope this helps.

Do you have dial up? That could be contributing. There is a drag at times but it is normally pretty easy to go from one thing to the next. Am not familiar with firefox since Internet Explorer is doing great on my dial up with Netscape and its accelerator. Hope it improves for you.

hello, I'm also using firefox as my main browser and using firefox everytime make a post at mylot, I don't really know why I'm also need pretty a lot time on page loads while posting or starting a discussion on mylot, maybe because mylot is too rush by the user (we know many people join and accessing mylot everytime), I don't think its because of the firefox, since at the other forum my load time is pretty fast, just imho.

i too face this type of prob but generally after 8:00 pm indian time... may be cause of heavy traffic.. or something i dunno...

I think it's just the hops between the servers of your ISP and myLot. I occasionally experience what you mention too. :(

me having the same problem....

I was wondering if you are still having problems with slow access or not since this was written a couple of months ago, but I am having the same problems as you have described. I also use firefox.
