My native language is Russian, I learnt English and French at the university, and as now I live in Israel, I know Hebrew. I've always wanted to learn Spanish and Italian.

Hebrew is the official language for Israel, isn't it? and only Israel speak Hebrew, right? what about other countries beside Israel? Do they can speak and know Hebrew, no?

English (mother tongue), Japanese, Vietnamese, a little French, a little Maori. Is your mother tongue Chinese? Do you speak Mandarin or Cantonese? Mandarin is spoken by the most people in the world, but English and Spanish are more widely spread. Do you still study English now? If you went to France or a French speaking country, you'd probably revive your High School French.

I'm English. I love languages, I can speak French and Spanish and a bit of Italian. It's really useful to know languages other than your own as it mkes it easier to communicate with people from different countries, whether you're in their country or they are in yours.
