This is the most popular soccer team in Bulgaria. Some history: In the eleventh year of the past century a group of secondary school boys decided to establish a sports club. At first time they have called their project "The Sixth club" since there have been five others in Sofia at the time. But the Balkan and the Second Balkan Wars discomfited the project realization. Only in the spring of 1914 the dream of the boys beca,e reality At the suggestion of Boris Vasilev (Borkisha) the Club was named after Vasil Levski - the Apostle of Liberty, with oficial name "Levski" Sofia Sports Football Club. Some statistics: Levski has taken part in all the 78 national football championships of Bulgaria and has never finished below the sixth position. The team has been champion 23 times and has finished 26 times on the second position. The club's show glass houses 24 national cups that is record for the country. Furthemore the team has taken part in nine finals for the Cup of Bulgaria. Levski has in its history 12 "doubles" winning simultaneously both insignias of honor. Levski reached five times quarter final in Europian tournaments

Only this talk enought for Levkski that is taken 24 natinonals cups and 23 times is finished for championships what another to say man. That's my favourite team.

yo man, i am from BG too , but will type on EN And Yes Levski is my Favorite club ever .. ever and ever. This year - 2007 we came champions and we won the Cup , so Champions League - wait for us! I think this year , players in the club is the best ever played in the near past.And more glory time come by , Valery will continued to grow :) Surmov too , Ognqnov ... so i am an optimist for Levski`s future :)) greetings!

I think that levski really is a great team,but at the moment they are having some problems with their players,gara dembele,de karvalio,joazihno and especially the top dog of levski todor batkov says that he has some problems with the financial support of levski.but all in all levski is the first team to reac champions league,and for a small country like Bulgaria that's a really good result

Oh this is the best team in Bulgaria. We reached the groups of Champions League and this is enough reason to tell - THIS IS THE BEST TEAM IN BULGARIA. We have 72 wins in the direct batles with our enemy cska. LEVSKI - THIS IS BULGARIA. This club is the most popular in Bulgaria and it always was that!
