how medicinal is gallic

I had an arguement with my Aunty about Gallic. She likes it a lot and uses it in almost all her meals. I dont like it as much as she does so I suggested that she stops using it. But she said that it is highly MEDICINAL. Do you think she is right?

im convinced it is medicinal. The smell of second hand garlic is really bad, so bad it keeps people away from you and therefore acts to prevent the transmition of disease
