I use e-cards for the people I don't know too well and physical cards for the people that I'm close to. If they have an email address and we communicate often, I would send both.

I only send e-cards. Only when I go to someones party i give them an old fashioned greeting card. i find it very easy, it's a lot cheaper, i do not have to go'n get stamps. the only time of year when I actually send traditional greeting cards is for christmas. Christmas is the time of year when I try to keep in touch with those that I do not get to see so often. i find it a bit more personal to take the time to write a proper greeting, and give people an update on my life.

Yes I still send physical greeting cards as they are more personal and the person who gets it understands that I must have taken out time to select a suitable one.

Though e cards have become the latest fad and are the easiest way to convey your wishes and greetings, they can never completely replace the physical cards. Yes, I still send physical cards and will comtinue to do so till they are making them.
