Should mylot have the option of "friends only" when starting a discussion?

I think it would be a nice option, It's not something thats needed, but it would be good to have. That way you can control who sees your discussion. what do you think?

I think this would be a great option. That way if women wanted to discuss woman issues and have it be semiprivate, it would be possible. And vice versa for the men. The only problem with this would be that your number of responses would be limited to your number of friends.

That seems to be the biggest downfall, less responses. I didn't even think about how women and men could have more privite discussions with eachother, that is a great benifit

yes its a nice option.....BUT BUT BUT then u wud get restricted number of replies....... tc enjoy!!!!!!!!

Very good point, that might keep people from using it too much if it was an option.

The only trouble is myLot is an open discussion for everyone to view and respond in a way they feel fit. As nice as the idea sounds, i'm not convinced it will be practical, on such a site that is open to all. I guess having the option available should you chose to use it, could be beneficial to some, especially members who get targeted with offensive feedback.

I was thinking the same type of thing, it would help the people who have others bothering them with bad feedback. It may also help keep spammers down as you could remove them from you list. I don't think it should be given to everyone right away, maybe when you reach so many post.
