do you keep all your children's clothes that they grow out of, give it away or sell it.
i give some stuff away and sell some stuff at consignment stores. after i sell her clothes i use the money to buy her new clothes. they grow out of things so fast and it's a great money saving oportunity for us.

If you can make space, why don't you keep them? Some of your friends or relatives might want them in future. There is one belief that if a baby wears the baby clothes of someone who has already grown up, it will somehow help him grow better. I know of a friend who went around asking for baby clothes so that she can use it for exactly this purpose.

i don't have the space to keep them and we don't have a lot of money so i have to sell to buy my daughter some more clothes. kids clothes are expensive these days and they grow out of them quickly.

I have two or three yard sales a year and sell off clothes and toys and really anything I can get my hands on. This money is then used to take a vacation. We do pretty good last summer we cleared about $1600.00. I can't wait to have my first yard sale. I get to meet some nice people and it is a big social event for my family and friends as well. After the sale we have a party. My daughter gets a share of the profits because she works just as hard as my mom, and husband do.

There's a couple of things I'll save for myself, and a couple that I'm saving for when my good friend gets pregnant. I'm trying to get whatever else I can listed on ebay. I'm working hard to declutter my house, and there's no reason to save all the clothes. I have tons of pictures anyways.

I keep them, if I know I'm going to be having more children. What I've done in the past is to give them to the maids, or sell them really cheap at some yard sale to those who really need them. I rarely sell at consignment stores....I'd rather give the clothes to someone who really need them.

Well we aren't done with having children, so we still have all of Kaylee's stuff. I figure we'll go through it all when we get pregnant again, and take what we want/need. Then we'll send the rest to consignment stores!

My son is only 3 years old and some of his clothes are been kept for awhile and when some of my relatives came from distant places visits us I usually gave it to them.
Sometimes when a beggar carrying a child passed by our house even it is still new and it is somewhat small to my son I really gave it so I can be of help in my own little way.

I only kept the outfit that they came home from the hospital in. The rest, I sell on ebay if they are in great shape. Now, some of the cheapy type things that may be stained or whatever, I just toss. But, I am like you...if it can be sold, it goes on ebay and then the money goes for more clothes for the kiddos. :)

With my daughter I just gave everything to GoodWill, but now that I have two kids I sell everything on Ebay...or if I get tired of looking at it I give it away to our local Freecycle group. I kept a few outfits from when the came home from the hostital...and some that were too cute to give away.

We kept all of our daughers clothes till my hubby had a vasectemony after trying for 3yrs. to have one more child. Didn't want too far of an age gap between them and we gave up trying once our daughter turned 4. I weeded thru the clothes and threw out all the ones that were badly stained then put the rest (we had a TON of clothes from newborn-3yrs) along with all her baby stuff in a huge garage sale. What didn't sell we gave to Birthright who helped us out clothes, diapers, blankets, toys when our daughter was born. Now that we have a great niece and nephew, we give them all our daughters outgrown clothes. She wears both girl and boy clothes so it helps our niece out alot.

At this moment I keep all my son clothes as he's only two and I am expecting the second one in April. I think the baby can use some of his/her brother clothes. Maybe later on I'll give some away to either people I know or charity or maybe sell it on ebay ( only when I have time to do it)...xx

I have kept most of my sons stuff because I plan on having more children, but the stuff that I haven't kept, I have sold at consignment stores or given away. When I know that I'm not having anymore children I'll have a t on of clothes and probably have a big baby garage sale.
