why are women supposed to cover their chest while men are not?

im not trying to be checky, but im seriously curious. however u look at it, be it from a religious pointview, or otherwise, how has it come to be that way?

I have often wondered the same thing. To be honest, I would much rather view the female chest than the male.

if you think about it though, its a private area to woman in the first place. if males had a private area on are chest, we would probably cover it up too. its all on how we were brought up.
