Do you dread going back to work on a Monday morning?

When it gets to Sunday night, do you start getting that feeling of dread in your tummy about having to go back to work the next morning for the whole week? I have had a few jobs in the past where i really, really dreaded going back to work after the weekend, and on a Sunday i would actually start to feel physically sick about going back to work on the Monday morning. My current job isn't so bad, i do get that feeling of wondering how the weekend went so quick and wishing it could last a bit longer, but i don't actually dread goingback to work again.

Most of the time I like my job butbecasue of the nature of my work (psychatric hospital) it can be a very unsafe environment so sometimes I don't feel ready to go back to work as its so demanding.

Hey Tazzza I know that feeling well as we work in the same field. If have had a few days off (my midweek weekend as such) and there has been a particularly stressful client on our books I just pray that they have been admitted or discharged so I dont have to deal with them anymore. A few clients make me feel physically sick after having to deal with them, psychopaths dont you just love'em!

I work shifts, so could be in on any day of the week and off on any day of the week. Saying that though I do hate Monday morning shifts, that is the busiest shift of the week, Friday evening comes a close second. This is the "dump and run" time for those who work 9-5 Monday to Friday.

I love the weekends and dread Sunday evenings. I am a stay at home mom and come Sunday evening, I have to worry about the kids taking showers, getting them to bed, picking out clothes, and getting up early the next morning. The best thing is when the summer comes around! That is my vacation from chauffeuring children around to school and sport practices/games. Come Monday, I know I have another week of getting kids ready, telling them for the 100th time to get their shoes on and stop playing, driving them to school, or sitting in the parking lot for an hour before school lets out because otherwise I would sit there for an hour afterward. I dread Monday through Friday. I so live for the weekends. LOL :)

It is not the job that I dread come Monday morning, it is getting up so early. I just don't rest well anymore and dread so badly getting up at such early hours. I love my work...but hate those early morning hours!

After two years of being unemployed, I would love to feel dread at going to work on Monday morning. *sighs*
