Hello guys, Just wanted to ask if beer really helps to make the beef tender. I'm a new housewife and I would appreciate tips in cooking :) Way back I love to bake and prepare desserts but now, I have to prepare meals... real dishes so I'm really open to all suggestions. Thanks!

A couple tips on making your meat tender- 1) Poke holes in meat cuts by repeatedly pricking with fork or sharp knife. 2)Meat tenderizer is sold with the spices and can aid in making meat more tender if you marinade it. 3)Slow cook or fast cook-To slow cook would be roasting or simmering on medium low heat (oven temp about 300-325.) To fast cook heat a pan on medium high with oil and fry your meats a few minutes on each side. If you "medium cook" them, they tend to dry out which causes toughness. Good luck!
