computer problems need help

ok my pc is running fine, but is in need of a pic me up, i have so many files on my sytem it is getting to run slow, and when i open a page it take for ever for the page to open, i would like 2 deltet all my files on pc, but i dont know where too look for them i would also like 2 delte the site that i have visited, apart from my lot of course is staying, i just need to delete a lot of rubbish, where does one start, i dont want to ask my boyfriend then he will know what i have been getting up to
