did you keep up to date with your baby books?
i started a journal for my daughter when she was born. a few times a week i write things in it for her like what she has accomplished, cute things she says and does and what interesting things we've done. she's 3 now and i still do it. i plan to pass it on to her and let her write in it when she learns to write.

Like you, I also started updating a baby book for my daughter when she was born. Unfortunately, I have failed to keep it up to date. It now just sits in one of our shelves at home.
However, I do blog. And I mostly blog about her - her antics and milestones. Then eventually, I will print out/save my journal/blog entries (just in case something happens to the blog server) and keep it in a safe place for her to read when she grows up.

I have a great scrapbook that i am doing for my son, but I am sad to say that I have fallen waaay behind on it and am going to try to catch up before the new baby get's here. I have been writing notes on scrp paper so that I won't forget stuff.

I bought one of those parents books and I kept it up till she was five and them we really got busy. I also bought a grandparent book for my mom. These two books will be shared with my daughter when she becomes a mom. She will be able to compare her first years with her new babies first years. I thing these books will be an asset to our children when they are older.

I had a monthly calendar for the first year that I kept up with. Since his birthday I've fallen behind, but that's mostly because he's changing so much all the time. I finally got a computer scrapbooking program, and I'm slowly going through and making pages for things, using the calendar I had, and the mementos that I kept. I'm hoping to make it pretty nice and interesting for him when he's older, and to have it available online for my out of town family to see.

I have a scrapbook too instead of a baby book. I just haven't caught up yet. I DO have everything written down though. It's just a matter of putting it in the scrapbook!
