hello friends. can anyone please give me a recipe of a 7 layer mexican dip made with salsa, guacamole, cheese, and i think sour cream. i had this really wonderful recipe that one of my ex co-worker made and she gave it to me as a parting gift and i had a house fire so i don't have it anymore. i like it spicy and hot too.

Here are two different ones that I've used. I hope one of them comes close. 7 Layer Mexican Dip Ingredients 2 packages (8 ounces) cream cheese 1 package taco seasoning mix 1/2 cup mayonaisse shredded lettuce cheddar cheese onion tomato sour cream taco sauce Directions Mix softened cream cheese, taco seasoning mix, and mayo and spread on the bottom of a pan. Layer shredded lettuce, cheddar cheese, onion, and tomato. Put sour cream in the center and drizzle taco sauce over all. We add a layer of sliced ripe olives and another layer of crumbled ground beef cooked with taco seasoning and have a full meal. Happy Super Sunday Layered Mexican Dip 2 or 3 ripe avocados 1 pkg. taco seasoning 16 oz. sour cream 1 can refried beans 1 pkg. shredded cheddar 2 bunches scallion 2 or 3 tomatoes 1 sm. can black olives 1 tsp. lemon juice bag of tortilla chips On lge. platter spread out can of refried beans. Mix sour cream and taco seasoning, layer on top of refried beans. Smash avocados with lemon juice to keep color. Layer on other two layers. Garnish with cheddar cheese, scallions, tomatoes and black olives.

thank you. i think i will try the second recipe because those ingredients sound like the one i had before with the avocados. i don't like mayo so i won't do the first one or i can do both and have the first one for guest and the second all to myself, lol. thank you.
