My best friend and I got into a stupid fight over petty things. She always cancels at the last min, and this last time, i got irriatated, so i madea joke out of it. She thought i was being too sensitive. I called and left a msg explaining why i reacted the way I did. then she called me the next day and I got complete attitude, and only 1 word responses. When i would ask what was wrong, i got "NOTHING". It ended in a screaming match. i called back an hr later to make peace and left a msg on her vm. I hate awkardness, and we've been friends for years. I havent heard back in 2 days. I feel that i've done my part, and shouldnt have to call again, but i don't want to lose a friendship over dumb stuff. What should i do?

Give it a few days and see if she forgets about it. Don't bring it up, wait for her to do it. If she doesn't, she's over it, if she does, it's her problem, not yours.

I would give it a couple of days to let her get over being upset and see if she gives you a call . If she doesn't then you could try calling her back and telling her exactly that , that you don't want to end your friendship over something dumb and would really appreicate her giving you a call back if she feels the same . If she then doesn't call you back then there really isn't much more you can do , but chances are she is just upset and once she thinks about it will realize it is not all that big of a deal to break up your friendship over and will probably give you a call back . Best of luck !!
