where would you like to retire after working for years

New Zealand as everyone describes is like a paradise. Though I have not been there yet, I read many testimonials about considering this place as where to live and retire. My brother even affirmed that to me that he would rather stay there than to stay in our country that is due to the fact that it is peaceful and indeed paradise. Others even said that though they are making big money working in other big countries they really never enjoy their earnings because of some responsibilities and added pressures. Is New Zealand really a place to settle and retire?

I've heard it's a paradise also. I'd love to go there on winter (I live in the US, so it'd be their summer) vacation. I wouldn't mind retiring there either. I've heard the pace of life is so calm compared to even Britain, let alone America.
