Who is your favorite.....

Maria Carey has a great voice. She has natural talent and was blessed with a good singing voice, but you can tell she's had a top-notch voice coach--and the particular voice style plays a role, too. Another singer who has a beautiful voice is Sarah Brightman. She really is in top form when she's singing operatic arias. Although she does modern stuff, her talent is wasted on these types of songs; when she uses her operatic technique, she really shines.

I have only listen to Avril Lavigne & I think she's a good Rock singer. I think she is pretty talented.

I love Pat Benetar and Joan Jett in the rock genre. I also really enjoy Bonnie Raitt and Melissa Ethridge, but I really clasify them more as bluesy, not really what I'd call hard rock. Stevie Nicks can also rock. So who's yours?
