Is cooking talent must t be a good housewife??????????

Well, I hate to cook and I am certainly not talented at it. I can heat sutff up okay, but to go crazy and make homemade meals, forget about it. Even so, I am a good wife. I think it just depends on what the couple want. I know there are some men who think that a woman has to be a good cook, but others who don't. My husband doesn't care if I am a good cook or not, and he actaully does most of the cooking, because he enjoys it. I am great at cooking breakfast, but that is about it. My best friend's husband and family believe that a girl has to be a good cook, which my best friend is. Of course it is the culture and the way they are raised. Her husband is Hopi and if you are a woman and you want to marry a Hopi, if you can't cook then the family will not accept you. SO, like I said, it really depends on the people invloved, but in my opinion cooking is not a deciding factor in what makes a woman a good wife.

i dont think so, because i do believe is that a great way to a man's heart is through his stomach.

I really don't think so. People do become better at something over time, so it's only natural that the more they cook, the better they will become. However, I don't necessarly think they have to be an excellent cook to be a housewife.

No not that only house wifes must only cooking talent.Any one who knows cooking are talented persons.

It depends... If her husband cooks and he's not against her absolute helplessness in the kitchen, then it's OK. I've known many girls who even "boasted" that they are zeros in cooking. I don't know how they managed finally to live with their partners. On the other hand, everything comes with experience.

Why not! kooking talent doesnt matters inbeing a good wife, One can adjust himself with a good wife who has no kooking talent, But no one can adjust with the wife whos good in kooking but not a good wife for her husband, so dont marrei a good kook but marrie a good wife.

It is not only cooking that has to be taken care of.I think there are so many other things on the way that is required.

i think she can! being housewife is not only cooking! I can cook quite well but i am absolutely unable to clean windows!

Of course she can! Cooking is a learned skill and certainly not what makes a good wife. As long as you posess the important qualities of a wife, unconditional love, trust, respect etc. you'll have plenty of time to learn to cook. Start out with something simple like spaghetti or even breakfast foods and get comfortable in the kitchen...it will come naturally after awhile. There are also lots of great cookbooks and websites for those who are learning to cook. Hope this helps!
