Do you have Netflix, or Blockbuster Online?

I used to subscribe to Blockbuster Online, and really liked as I got free in-store rentals in addition to my online rentals. I am thinking about re-subscribing to it. I'm also debating if I should try Netflix instead of Blockbuster. Which one do you think is better and why? I'm having a hard time deciding which one to do.

We did blockbuster for a year and recently switched over to netflix to give them a try. Netflix costs about the same but does not have the coupons monthly (does not affect us because we do not have a blockbuster building close enough to make using the coupons worthwhile anyhow) We much prefer the netflix because the movies arrive to us (and the returns to them) much quicker than with blockbuster. Plus, with blockbuster we were getting a lot of movies that we could not enjoy watching due to the amount of scratches and damages on the disk - the netflix quality assurance must make sure the discs are in good playing condition because we have had no difficulties viewing their movies through.

I've never subscribed to Blockbuster so I can't tell you much there. But, we have been a member of Netflix for about the past six months. We love them. They are very timely. We usually return our two movies on Monday, and by Friday, we have our two new ones, just in time for the weekend. The selection is fantastic, everything from new releases to very old classics. I love it. We have only had to contact customer service once, for something minor, and they were very quick to respond and fix the issue. It's a great service, and I don't miss the video store in the least. Hope this helps.

I don't have it, but my boyfriend has Netflix, and he really enjoys it.

I have not tried either but I was getting ready to go with Blockbuster. I have a blockbuster account and we actaully are on the monthly pay plan becaus ewe do rent a lot of movies, but I was thinking of switching because the Online is cheaper than the instore price. I really liked the idea of being able to exchange in the store also.
Of course now I am wondering if it is the right move. I really don't want to have to deal with getting movies that are unwatchable because of scratches. Of course there is a Blockbuster just 2 miles from my house.
I shall watch this discussion to see what other tidbits of advice people share.

We have Netflix and we're very happy with it. Never tried Blockbuster but have friends who subscribe and are happy with it as well.

We use both but I like NetFlix better. The DVDs come in the mail way fast and get returned faster. It might be because we are right near a netflix return center. ;)
My only problem is some DVDs are not in netflix so I use blockbuster to get them.

I have a Blockbuster right down the road and the extra dough t use the mail services doesn't look like it would benefit me in the long run...Blockbuster has signed a deal with a studio and some movie will be exclusive to only them...as of right now the deal is being challeneged on legal grounds...but who knows

I'd go with blockbuster, personally. I'm doing the free 2-week trial, and in two weeks I've gotten about 16 movies for free, with the in-store freebies. You don't get that with netflix.

I've been a Netflix member for a couple of years. The service is usually very good, and the selection is fantastic. I've read a lot about the Blockbuster service, but have never seen any reason to switch.
