The problem of how to stop Pedaphiles from ever committing a crime, and if they do, what kind of sentencing they should have, is of ever growing concern. In my own city, there is one 74 year old repeat offender who has breached a court order not to talk or approach children, 47 times. The above revolting man, once described his victimes as "pieces of meat". He has been remanded in custody for sentencing in March. Lets hope he gets the kind of sentence he deserves... Life!

I'm not so sure you really want to know what I think should be done with those kinds of people. In these cases, this is where I turn from a nice sweet person to a mean rotten witch. I am thinking along the lines of castration but I know thats not possible and I suppose they can still do other things. But putting them into prison for life puts just one more burden on the taxpayers. It just doesn't seem fair to them. I'm thinking maybe they should put him in a room with the parents of those children. To some I may seem cruel and heartless but when it comes to crimes against children, I have no mercy for the person who did it.

Well, I have some news that will calm you down regarding pedaphiles. My brother is one of the Managers in our State Prison. He tells me that pedaphiles do not have a good time of it in jail. More than that I can not put in writing here.

yes, i have been told that as well, but it doesn't change the fact that somewhere out there is a child who has been violated, forced into the world of adult sexuality and left to figure it out.

we need to do more than just tell them to stay away from kids!! life in prison seems totally fair for the second offence. the first offence should bring them at least 10 years in prison and at least a year of counseling before they are free

These people tend to be repeat offenders, It is stated in the statistics. We do need to keep them off the streets. I thought for only a moment we should send them off to war! We do need a way to keep them from our children which need protected from these people. In your case, the people should show up at court and try to urge the court to lock him up permenantly.
