If a person's 80% of is his life is in bed that too in hospital bed

Being hospitals is bit irritating for me but recently I had met one whose father is in bed for very long time after he had a accident which nearly has his backbone scattered. Itis realy pity that they allhave to make the hospital as a homely affair.
